This is also the second Top 40 hit for Tex Ritter. On 7/7/56 he made his first debut with The Wayward Wind which peaked at #28. He starred in several western movies and was the father of actor John Ritter, who died on 9/11/03 (age 54). Tex Ritter, born Maurice Ritter died of a heart attack on 1/2/74 (age 68).
